Cougs Tied for Fourth in Midst of Second Round of Fresno State Classic

FRESNO, Calif. (March 25, 2024) – Washington State women's golf currently sits tied for fourth at the Fresno State Classic after day one play was ended early due to nightfall.

At the end of round one, the Cougs were tied for sixth place at 6-over, 294 at the par-72 Copper River Country Club. With the WSU golfers ranging between 15 and 17 completed holes in round two to this point, the team is unofficially tied for fourth and will wrap up their remaining few round-two holes Tuesday morning.

Individually, junior Madelyn Gamble ended round one tied for 11th in the 116-player field at an even-par, 72.
