The Texas Rangers scored twice but the Houston Astros scored nine runs.
A messy game from Andrew Heaney today, who still cannot seem to have clean innings which means short outings which means bullpen headaches, was bolstered by a couple of rabbit’s feet stuffed in his back pocket as Houston was unable to sequence things just right to pile on runs against the entirely fatigable lefty.
At this point, you have to wonder if Heaney is just auditioning for a long relief role with no second left-hander in the ‘pen with Brock Burke out and with Michael Lorenzen not long from joining the rotation.
