EXCLUSIVESeaside strip club hits back at 'silly' neighbour's claim that it is breaching the Equality Act because it has no male dancers - as boss insists they do put on Dreamboys-style events but 'there is not really the demand for it'

The owner of a strip club in a popular seaside resort has hit back a 'silly' neighbour's claim that it is breaching the Equality Act by having no male dancers.

Taran Singh Ojla, the director of Wiggle Strip Club in Weymouth, dismissed the idea that his venue is sexist in the 'highest possible regard'.

He told MailOnline that his chain's Bournemouth club holds Dreamboys-style events but that there is 'not really the demand for it in Weymouth', which sees fewer Hen nights than the bigger coastal town.

The club applied to keep its sexual entertainment licence with the local authority but faced a sole objector, who claimed that its punters were 'not the type of people' wanted in the Dorset town.
